Northeastern University had their band at the Baseball Beanpot Tournament championship game yesterday playing between innings...the Dodgers had their own band during their time in Brooklyn, anyone else have a band that played before/during/after games?

I think the only non-football "big league" team with a full-time band is the Los Angeles Lakers.

Charley Finley had a band in Oakland that travelled through the stands. May have had it in KC too. Not sure.

There was some small brass ensemble that played in the stands at Shea during the 70's and it always annoyed me that both they and Jane Jarvis the organist were playing at the same time between innings.

The Yankees did that for a season or too as well . . .

Any other college teams do that for games/tournaments/special occasions?

Ohio State has small brass sections that roam the stands during the second half of their home games.

I remember well those times. Couple or three guys with bango's. Those days will never be again, I wished I'd have appreciated it more back when I was 12 or 13.
