How many people are having trouble keeping pace with the upgrades needed to enjoy MLB.TV/Audio/Gameday/Archive? A number of bloggers out there suggest that some people are getting left behind as more and more bells and whistles are added every year. Users of Macs seem particularly affected. But how widespread is this?
So, should baseball fans be obliged to keep buying newer computers to enjoy a paid-for service that was already working well? Are non-US fans -- especially those living where ISPs are expensive and monopolized, where the price of a home computer represents a major chunk of household income, and where high-speed broadband is rare and costly -- being particularly disadvantaged? Or is everybody happy with the service and prepared to go on upgrading, even though this may mean recurrent costs and the inability to view archived material that's in an older format? Views, please.
