Today on the radio, Sterling said that the Yanks haven't turned a triple play in 40 years ..... ?!?!?!?!?!
So I looked, and found this:

Triple play revisited
Forty years ago today [June 3rd 2008], the Yankees turned their last triple play — started by pitcher Dooley Womack. "I keep saying, I ought to be brought back to Old-Timers' Day just for that," Womack said by phone from his home in Charleston, S.C. The Yankees have played 6,351 games since and have hit into nine triple plays.
On June 3, 1968, against the Twins at Yankee Stadium, Womack speared Johnny Roseboro's eighth-inning liner with the bases loaded. He threw to third baseman Bobby Cox (the current Braves' manager), to force out Tony Oliva, and Cox fired to first baseman Mickey Mantle, to force out Bob Allison.
Mantle had moved to first base in 1967, and '68 was his final season. "I was afraid to throw off target. I didn't want to get the great Mickey Mantle into a collision with the runner," Cox said by phone. "It was on my mind."
