So, we lost the series to the Cubs in our opener. I saw some great things, though....including pitching by Oswalt and Wandy! Oh, and it didn't hurt to see Pudge knock one out of the ballpark. ;)

I am very disappointed at how horrible the Astros hitting has been. I thought that the pitching would be a much bigger problem but so far it turns out that I was wrong. I hope that they can work through this poor beginning of the season.

So i know the Stros are off to a rough start but thats scares me with my Reds coming to town because i know HOU is due to get some wins. Just hope it is after the weekend. Then of course we get Oswalt who is 23-1 against us in game 1. I am going to predict a split.

Yes, and I agree with you all. Though typical of the Astros, this slow start seems even slower already. Paulino is a bright spot (keep your eye on him), but the hitting is just......not good. Not with the names on the backs of those jerseys.

Well, this month has been as bad as I can remember. The 1-hitter thrown against us last night in Cincinnati was just another addition to the mysteries of how this team works.
Ugh. I'm glad April is over. I'm sure Berkman is, too.
Wandy was the brightest spot, finishing 2-2 with a 1.69 ERA. WOW, I am proud of him.
