Was watching my son's JV game tonight, after the game which we won 4-1 pitcher pitched a 2 hitter and 1 walk our team backed up the pitcher with great fielding. Our team is 8-0 the other team is 6-3 after today's game.

We felt like it was going to be a good game, it was but at the end of the game after we won my wife and I over heard a father from the other team saying loudly to some other parents about 50 ft. away from us. That "there coach was an embarrassment to the game, how can he expect to coach a game with his wallet in his back pocket."

Now am I missing something in code here in what he said? Because if not this was one of most wired statements I have ever heard when it comes to baseball. Please don't think I am being judgmental I just want to understand what this is about.

My wife and thought we heard it all but this is a new one,

ps i love this game and there is no way a writer could come up with this stuff if.

If you have heard any jaw dropping statements please feel free to respond.

No With all the money JV HS coaches make, they need a place to keep it organized! :D

Maybe he really "had his wallet in his back pocket".

Was he wearing baseball pants and had a big ole' thick leather wallet protruding from his backside pants pocket?

BTW, your post would get low marks from an english teacher..... just saying..

Personally I would never keep my wallet in my ball pants because it does look kind of tacky sticking out like that. But I have seen far more embarrasing things on the ballfield.

It could have been worse. It could have been a container of dip back there.

Rico Carty used to play regular season games with his wallet in his back pocket. Apparently he didn't trust the Braves security at the ballpark.

Well got to thinking about it and figured where else are they going to keep it. The home team had to travel to the ballpark in there little town. Would you let your wallet sit in the dugout?

I just found it strange with all the other stuff a person could come up with.

Yes he was wearing baseball pants.

Sorry about my poor low marks for writing, last year I found out I have a enlarged vessel in my brain stem and it is in-operable. Some of the symptoms are imbalance facial spasms and poor englishh. grin. (its called Vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia ) just kidding about the poor English. Was not in my top form at the time i posted above thread.
