Please note that it is possible for the Mods and Admins to see who is adding tags to each thread. Therefore if you add inappropriate tags to a thread you will be held to the same guidelines that direct the rest of this site.

THANK YOU!!! All of these tags are quite inappropriate and some times even offensive.

Being that the tags were anonymous to everyone else, it was easy for people to leave junk tags and feel like there would be no consequence.
Since the mods can see who's adding the tags, perhaps this will discourage some of the nonsense tags.

It was a feature at the bottom of each thread where you could put a searchable phrase pertaining to the thread to assist searching. Unfortunately, some classy folks of late were using it to talk trash. Basically, something all could use spoiled by a few. It has been disabled.

As with most other things, a few jerks ruin it for all. I never put a tag on anything, BTW, but the idea that you could use a tag for a search was a good thing.
Just like a graffiti vandal thinks he is an artist by ruining new playgrounds, subway cars, etc.......thanks to the fools for ruining something else.

If assisting searching is a goal here, then why does the search "feature" use OR instead of AND?
