Name the two sets of pitchers that have saved at least 3 games that the other started and vice versa, since 1954.
In otherwords Andy Pettite starts a game and Dave Wetteland saves it and then at some point Dave Wetteland starts a game and Andy Pettite saves it.

I'm guessing that Rich Gossage and Terry Forster might be one of the pairs.

Maybe Feller and Lemon?
Ubiquitous

Incorrect on Forster and Gossage. Forster never saved a game of Gossage's.
As for LEmon and Feller I do not know. If it happened then Feller had to have done it between 1946 and 1948 while Lemon had to have done it between 1946 and 1953.

Bill Sherdel & Lou North could have even done it
Bender and Plank?
Shawkey/Mogridge/Carl Mays/Sam Jones?

Kerry Wood and Ryan Dempster?
Ubiquitous
03-30-2009, 12:18 PM
Dempster only saved one of Wood's games while Wood saved 4 of Dempster's.
Eckersley only has one other match and each of them only saved one game for the other and it wasn't any of the names you listed.

Dick Drago and Bob Stanley (1980)?
Ubiquitous

Burgmeier saved all of Drago's games when he was in Boston. Though he did save 3 of Stanley's games in 1979.

If the phrase "since 1954" comes into play, I have the feeling that one of them might be either Sal Maglie or Johnny Antonelli and Marv Grissom from the '54 Giants-
Ubiquitous

Antonelli's name comes up 3 different times and Sal's name comes up once but not for each other and neither of them have it as 3 saves and wins
Antonelli saved 5 of Sam Jones' games but Sam only saved one of Johnny's.
