Of course now looking at it, maybe "Met Fans for Life" would have been the proper grammar. Well I'll only have to look at it for the next 40+ yrs.
One other note - thanks Gary for posting the map online. I had forgotten where Section 20 was but it only took me a minute to find it on my iPhone thanks to the first post on this thread.

My employer had the Mets as a client back in the mid-90s and Jim was one of the absolute nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. He went out of his way to be nice to us even though he had nothing to do with our work.
Luckily for me, he had Knick season tickets right across the aisle from my on of my best friends at the Garden, so I'd run into him from time to time over the last 15 yrs (but not in the last few yrs).

Wow that's quite a coincidence that we're right next to each other. What are the odds of that? And even more strange is the fact that my best friend's brick ended up only 2 spots to my left. His is the one says A STEP TOWARD GREATNESS (can't see it in the pic).

In case anyone was wondering, I haven't forgotten... the list has been updated.
Baseball Fever people are responsible for 38 of the... of the... gee, how many Citi Field Fan Walk bricks are there, anyway? Well, we're responsible for 38 of 'em.
And here's how each section ranks in terms of BBF bricks:
7 bricks
Section 9
6 bricks
Sections 13, 20
5 bricks
Section 8

May I ask a favor of anyone attending the home opener Monday night? I just moved 1/2 way across the country and have no idea when my first opportunitity to visit Citi Field(still doesn't feel right to call it that) will be. If anyone has a chance to get some good pics of the fanwalk section 20 I would greatly appreciate it. I have my replica yes but I would like to see what my "real" brick looks like. Thanks in advance.

I just found my noticification and it says Section 8. I hope they didnt make a mistake in the section number, or maybe they screwed up and didnt put the brick in! I know they got the brick right as I have the duplicate brick from them at home in my sports collection and it looks great). Appreciate any further looking you could do in the future when you are at the stadium. Thanks a bunch bud.

All sold out. I suppose there's always a possibility that the Mets might, in the off-season, decide to expand FanWalk by adding a section or two down the left field and right field lines, so it pays to keep an eye out for that. But, as of right now, the bricks are no longer available.

You know I still can't find mine.
It's in section 13, It says "In loving memory of Art Smedberg Jr", I think JohnQ you gave me a wonderful picture of it, and yet both my wife and I have looked and looked and can't find the damn thing.
If anyone has found it or seen it, could you tell if it was on the outside, towards tthe middle? Is it closer to the park, or on the other side and farther from it, or towards 3rd base or 1st base.
Thanks!

They have never announced any plans to expand the Fan Walk beyond those locations where they currently exist outside the rotunda. It's possible of course, but online they specifically had these sections marked with X's as the spots where fanwalk bricks were to be placed.

Most of the amount is tax deductible also which made it even more of a no-brainer for big Mets fans. I don't remember the exact percentage but I have the receipt from the Mets Foundation as home.

If I've counted correctly, we've got 44 bricks on the Citi Field Fan Walk.

This last, street-level shot kinda gives you an idea as to where your brick is relative to the Rotunda as you're facing the Rotunda. Your brick is located in the far left column (first column of 8x8 bricks), sixth one up from the bottom (counting only the 8x8 bricks).

Glad to do it.
I hope your wish comes true, but things are not looking good for the Metropolitans right now. As I sat in Yankee Stadium this afternoon watching the Yankees overcome a 5-1 deficit, my heart sank each time the out-of-town scoreboard updated the Mets' afternoon of futility. They're the walking wounded right now and they're falling fast. If the Phillies take advantage of this bleak stretch for the Mets right now, the race could be over soon.

Well, the last two years they played well and lost at the end, maybe this year they will reverse it and put on a charge at the end and get in the playoffs. Still an awful lot of games to play, keep the faith up. I never give up until my teams are mathematically eliminated. They might make some moves too, to bring a couple of players to the team.
