I think that Clemens' name should be added.
I voted for Ford, Gomez, Guidry, Hoyt and Stott.

Tough deciding between so many all-time greats. Ask me tomorrow and I'm likely to give you different answers.

I think Clemens should at least be on the list. I wouldn't choose him as one of the top five, but he has already won 67 games with the team. That's 3 more than Cone obtained.

My starting 5;
Chesbro;41 game winner in 1903.That one will never be broken.Period.
Whitey Ford; The Chairman of the Board;one of the most dominant pitchers of the 50s
Lefty Gomez;Anchored great staffs of the 1930s
Ron Guidry:Loiusiana Lightning.Big game pitcher in the late 70s.'78 season was as dominating as I've ever seen(25-3)
Mel Stottlemyre;Very good pitcher for some pathetic Yankee teams of the mid to late 60s.

I need a moderator to add Mike Mussina, Roger Clemens, and Orlando Hernandez to the poll. Thanks.
P.S. The reason why I objected to Clemens on the poll is because at the time he didn't have enough seasons to qualify for the list. After the 2003 season, he did. I don't know why I didn't explain that.

What about Red Ruffing?
I don't get what you're asking. Are you asking why he's not on the poll? Because.....he is and always has been.

Ford
Guidry
Reynolds
Petitte
Chesbro
Petttite is a great big-game pitcher, very good under fire. Reynolds was very much the same type of pitcher for Casey Stengel's ballclubs.
