The Detroit Lions finished the 2008 preseason at 4-0.

Players who already have their place aren't going to worry too much about not crushing the ball or not striking out 7 in 3 innings or vice versa.

Tuiasosopo. Wow. And I thought Mientkiewicz was hard to spell.

One of these days we'll have the all-unspellable team.

Anyone know if he's related to the father/son NFL tandem?

What do you think could Andy LaRoche be new Josh Hamilton this seasaon?

LaRoche is batting .550 (11-for-20) in spring training thus far.

Heh... Would be nice. I don't put much stock in ST numbers though. In 2007 Ronny Paulino beasted in ST(23-46, .500, with 4 jacks). He didn't find his magic stick again until September.

The team put him to work over the winter. He showed up to ST with all the confidence in the world. Hopefully all the hard work he put in thus far pays off when the games really count.

I certainly hope that he fulfills the promise he had with the Dodgers, but I don't think that he'll be the next Josh Hamilton.

I had full right when I said last year Josh Hamilton and Volquez would be the season's surprise.
I think and it's my prediction---:debate:

The next 'Hamilton' could be:
Matt Wieters
Andy LaRoche
Clayton Kershaw
Pablo Sandoval
Alexei Ramirez
Cameron Maybin
Jay Bruce
