No one has a perfect swing. Even the best MLB hitters look foolish at times. Imitating a pro player isn't going to make you a good hitter. Learn proper mechanics, get in shape, don't think too much and be yourself.

That is like asking if there is a perfect wife!!! Or a perfect husband for that matter, the answer it doesn't exist!! I would say there are some guys that as close to perfect, Pujols, Manny, Chipper, Etc. My swing is pretty close to perfect:) j/k
Eventhough there isn't a perfect swing there is a lot to learn from these and other pro swings. If you can do the things they do well then you are on your way to a great swing!!!

Doesn't that beg the question, what are "proper mechanics"? We certainly don't seem to have a consensus here.

A good hitter has more than one swing, knows what situations to use them in, and what pitches to look for to use them on.
The perfect swing is the one that gets the job done, whether it is moving a runner, finding a gap, or making a pitcher pay for leaving a pitch up in the zone.

Situation is we need an extra base hit. We don't know the pitcher's tendencies. What can we say about the swing you hope your hitter has?

I love Manny's swing
I would say Bonds. Controled, quick and powerful.
