The USA Today Sports Weekly, when it used to be known just as Baseball Weekly 1991-2002 used to put out a schedule a couple of times per year revealing when new baseball books would be pulished.
Usually it would be published in March/April around Opening Day and then around the time of the World Series they would publish a list of books that would become available in the offseason, particularly during the Christmas shopping season. I don't think that they have continued with this practice after their publication's focus has no longer been solely on baseball since Sept. 2002.

Who knows where I would look to obtain a list of Baseball books that will be published in the near future?

You can check amazon for future releases of baseball books by going here: Amazon.com - Baseball Book New Releases (http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1235752059/ref=sr_nr_p_n_date_2?ie=UTF8&rs=16315&bbn=16315&rnid=1250225011&rh=n%3A26%2Cn%3A16315%2Cp%5Fn%5Fdate%3A20090227-20090528)

It lists most of the New books in hardback and the ones that are reissued in paperback. Hope that helps.

Aside from the fact that there always seems to be too many books coming out about the New York Yankees, (YUK!) - your suggestion was a great help.
Thanks, Extra!! I'll use your suggestion in the future.

Yankees fans turned sportswriters never get tired of writing about the Yankees and their history, for which the phrase
"Ad Nauseum" was invented.

You could get on the McFarland and University of Nebraska Press's mailing lists. Then they'd send you their catalogs.
