If the window is 2000-2007, then Jason Jennings is the worst, hands down.
Furcal, IMO, is overrated, but Jennings was a faster flame-out.
Jennings could have been a greater pitcher if he hadn't had the ill fortune to have to pitch in Colorado. I have little doubt but that this affected his arm, and he appears to be a chronic injury case now. Sad, because anyone who could pitch as well as he did in Colorado in 2002 has talent to be reckoned with.

Jason Jennings. Maybe if he didn't pitch with the Rockies things could have been different, but you can say that about alot of things.

I voted for Jennings as the worst, but we need to keep an eye on Dontrelle.

I voted for Willis instead of Jennings on accident.

Agreed- outside of 1.5 good years, Willis has ranged from mediocre to horrid. Jennings is the winner, but Willis isn't far behind.

I fixed that.
As a Tiger fan, I really hope all the work they've been doing with Willis helps. Even a little.

I think Donrelle is going to bounce back this year. Even if he doesnt he might be close but he still has had a better career than Jennings.

Jennings, though Willis has a strong argument, as well - though, it isn't terribly close, unless you penalize for a greater fall from grace.
Willis has one season better than any of Jennings, and one season worse than any of Jennings - he has also pitched for one less season (though the innings are essentially a push). Jennings has also "lucked into" playing in the three best hitter's parks in the majors in his career, which has to be considered. If Willis doesn't bounce back this year, and Jennings hits his mediocre streak again, this may be a better argument.
I don't agree with mentioning Furcal, though. He isn't great, but he's a solid shortstop, a great baserunner, and a good lead-off hitter. If Willis hadn't fallen so far and Jennings didn't win that award, he may have an argument - but Furcal has been better than both, on the whole.

I "watch" the Rockies and I was not even aware that Jennings won a ROY.

Voters were very impressed with 15 wins while pitching at Coors.

Yeah, he def deserved ROTY but the point of this thread - who has had the worst career of the group, is an easy decision.
