I think we know how Eric Hinske got to be listed twice. If anyone who has previously voted wants to change their vote to Berroa, let me know.

It's a toss up between Angel Berroa and Bobby Crosby. I'd go with Berroa, only because he got beat out of Kansas City's shortstop job by Tony Pena, Jr., which is probably as low as it gets.

Definitely Suzuki.
. . . or maybe Crosby. . .

Few good cases there...I picked Berroa, mostly 'cause I saw him play last year, way too much
What happened to Hinske? After '02 he went downhill

I used to love Hinske when he was in Toronto but he has never gotten out of the sophomore slump. I'll go with Berroa though, he has had the worse career since his winning.

Funny how different this is from the NL one. I could have easily voted for 4 or 5 guys here and in the NL there was really only one i would consider disappointing by any measure.
Went with Berroa.

haha, apparently cardsfanatic doesn't like Ichiro...oh well
I said Berroa. and while just glancing at this it seems as though Berroa is the only one of the bunch who has not played an important late season game in his career....aside from also being terrible.

Can't be Hinske, he just hit 20 HR's for Tampa last year -- off the bench -- and he's got himself a world series ring. He's inconsistent, but very talented and doing well. Berroa is a junk journeyman Shortstop McNoodlebat, so there's kind of only one choice here.

A good role player beats a has-been or never-was. I didn't realize Hinske did that well.

I voted for Berroa. I almost went with Sasaki since he isn't the majors anymore, but he did put together a few good seasons with Seattle.

Sasaki missed a HUGE chunk of the 2003 season. I think injury concerns forced him to retire. Berroa seems to lead the queue of crapiness here.

Angel Berroa... he's a marginal player who had a pretty good rookie season. Hinske hit 20 home runs last season for the Rays, so he hasn't had that bad of a career.
Angel Berroa's OBP so far in his career:
.305
Need I say more?

Berroa and it's not like it's that close.

HAS to be Berroa. Though I DID think about Crosby and Hinske.

It's a real red-hot race to the bottom. I picked Crosby over Berroa because (A) he's more injury-prone, (B) he's the bigger disappointment, and (C) I can imagine Berroa hanging on and having a career as a semi-productive utility man/backup SS from here on out far more than I could imagine Bobby "D. L." Crosby filling that role.
Crosby was/is a huge disappointment. He was supposed to be a perennial All-Star, and he's never come close. I guess that's the real reason I've picked him.

I'll take Berroa for this poll... What year was Ben Grieve?

I'm surprised Sasaki has been voted for 8 times. He was a decent closer for the few seasons he pitched in Seattle.

I voted for Berroa, although I considered Crosby.
