The idea that is presented to us over and over again is that if these athletes admit to using and ask for forgiveness then they will be forgiven. With the A-Rod mess this is starting to show how crazy an idea this is. He keeps bending over to answer questions (more than anyone else I can remember who was caught) and yet it seems that is never enough.

the most absurd comparison is when they bring up Pettitte and his "admission." The assumption is #1 he is telling the truth and #2 (and most ignored) is he never lied.

but like all players when not put into a corner Pettitte lied the same as everyone else.

"I haven't done anything," Pettitte, 34, said. "I guess reports are saying that I've used performance-enhancing drugs. I've never used any drugs to enhance my performance on the baseball field before. Like I said, I don't know what else to say except that it is embarrassing that my name would be out there with this."

Then they just accept that he took HGH twice. :crazy

Arod says he took steroids for three years and they want to hang him. The thing I dont understand is why maggots like Francessa and Lupica feel that they have a right to know everything ARod did. They want to know every aspect. The admission isnt enough. They need to know what color underwear he had on the first time he took them.

This from Francessa who worshiped Mantle - a guy who probably did speed, was a major boozer, big-time womanizer and nightlife carouser; and never faced a tough question from the media. The hypocrisy is sickening.

I always have and always will believe anything that Greg Luzinski says.
