So, what are your team(s) goals this upcoming season, by any chance? Whether to improve on the season before, or just hope for a better season than before. As for the Cardinals: Get a decent second baseman, set a steady pitching staff that can do the job in stone, and hope for a good season, just like most of last year.
Mets: Just hope the free agent signings flesh together, and everyone does their job when pitching in relief.

I don't think our fans or our team will stand for anything less than #27.

Ditto, I mean who wouldn't want to win the World Series?
Perhaps a better question would be "what do you realistically hope your team achieves".
Since i dont really support any team (being in the UK i have no connection with any of them, i suppose im closest to being a cards fan on account of Pujols being my favourite player), im hoping all 30 teams finish on .500, just to annoy fans everywhere.:laugh

The Houston Astros have a payroll over $100 million. They will probably finish below .500.
The Boston Red Sox on the other hand... if they stay healthy I'd be happy if they could make a run. But I don't see them being able to pull off a third championship in six years.

The Cardinals can make a legit Wild Card run if Carpenter stays healthy, Perez or Motte can close, and one of the top teams in the East have an off year. Once playoffs start, anything can happen. I don't envision a playoff team, but they have a shot.

I would love to see Sweet Lou get the goat off the Cubs back and the Nats break 500

To be above .500
Great pitching, timely hitting and good defense.

Not finish is last place--Rangers
My #1 goal for the season is to see the Yankees have a 100+ win season, only to get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by a team with a third of their payroll. I want A-Roid, A-Fraud to stink it up in the playoffs, and I want Tex to show why he is overrated.

Go Reds. I have high hopes for the team this year. As always its all about pitching. I think if Harangatang can get back on the beam, they will be in it

Win our 3rd Championship in 6 years and beat the MFYs.......other than that what is there?
The Sox have the best depth in the division and that is why they will win the AL East.
