For totally selfish reasons, 1995. If I voted just on historical interest, I would go for one of the Gibson era Cardinals Series.

These were the others I might have voted for myself, but I think we're unlikely to see either a Twins- or Cardinals-won Series in the next few releases, because we already have '87, '06, and the Busch Stadium mixed set.
I suspect MLB is "saving" 1991 (in some opinions (http://espn.go.com/swf/mlb/anniversary/worldseries_100.html) the best Series of all time, and surely of intense interest to Twins, Braves and general fans).
1995 is a good one to put out at any time, and dang right I'll snap it up. I probably won't even have the patience to wait for the price to come down on eBay like I have with all the others I own.
I cast a vote here for the meeting of the A's and Reds, the two dynastic teams of the early-mid '70s.

I would like to see the 1965 and 1968 World Series released on DVD. I did not know that any of the 1964 World Series games were still around. it would be nice to see some games at old Sportsman Park from the 1964 series.

I would like to see anything from 1969 to 1972, especially 1972 or maybe 1985.

Anything with the Reds. I have the '75 Series already. I would love to add the 1990 Series. Even though the Reds lost both Series, I would also purchase the 1970 Series and the 1972 Series.

The one thing I don't like about these sets is the way they're marketed just to fans of the winning team, rather than both, or baseball fans generally. The Reds won in '75, but surely it's equally as important in Red Sox lore? (Was it Fred Lynn who said, "we won that series, three games to four"?)
This may not matter much if it's a seven-game Series with just those seven games included. So the box just has the logo of the winning team, I can deal with that. It's a weakness when they choose other playoff games to go with the Series games; often, some of the best playoff games were not won (or even played) by the team that ended up winning the Series.
I wish they'd release three boxes per year, one each for the complete NLCS, ALCS and World Series. Shouldn't Rays fans (and everybody) have had a memento of their great win over the Red Sox last year? The production costs for these things are pretty low, given that the broadcasts are already produced for television.
I voted for the 93 Series. Being a lifelong Blue Jays fan of course Carter's home run in game 6 was the greatest moment in baseball history as far as i'm concerned. And to be honest it has always annoyed me that it doesn't get more credit. You know if Carter was wearing a Red Sox or Yankees uniform it would be considered to be one of the greatest moments in the history of the game...if not the greatest.

'95 Series Braves/Indians......for obvious reasons :)
My question is, will we ever see most of these even come to std. dvd? Since Blu-ray is becoming more available you could fit an entire World Series on a few discs compared to 1 disc per game.

Blu-ray market share is only about 10 percent, according to the most optimistic pro-industry interpretations. In the economic climate of the moment, and the foreseeable future, I don't see how that's likely to grow at all. I would assume that DVD will remain the home video standard for years to come.

Yep, that's the most exciting of the list. Since it ain't gonna happen soon, 1972 is probably the next most exciting

I would ove to see the 1963 Series.
Reading Koufax's autobiography in the mid 60s (with Ed Linn as a co-author) made me a big Koufax fan, although I was a bleeding heart Giants fan.
The 64 series also had lots of great moments.
Outside of the 63 series, I would die to have the 1965 all-star game (Mays leadoff HR, Marichal MVP) and 1969 all-star game (McCovey 2 HR, MVP).
I do already have Games 5 and 7 of the 1965 World Series on DVD - complete original broadcasts with original commercials (both Koufax shutouts).
I also have many other games form the old Sports Network (beofre Fox Sports bought them all out) and the old pre-espn Classic Sport Network including Games 1 and 7 from the 1968 Series, Games 3,4 and 5 from the 1969 World Series, Game1 from the 1970 series, Games 6 and 7 from the 1971 series and I believe 1 or 2 games from the 1972 World series, plus MANY "newer" games including world series, playoffs, no-hitters, even a 23-22 Phillies Cubs Wrigley Field game.
Great stuff

because I'm a Yankees fan I'd like to own all the Yankees World Series from the broadcast era.... but thats just me...
if i'm having to choose a series that wasn't a Yankees series, probably the '91 Twins/Braves series... I was only 2 years old, but from what I've read and the clips I've seen it looked absolutely amazing...

The 1987 WS was released in 2007 and advertised as a 20th anniversary collection. Maybe we'll have to wait a few years for the next DVD sets to be released.

I just ordered the 1977 World Series set, even though I'm less than thrilled about the prospect of watching another ABC baseball broadcast. I don't think ABC had a good broadcast team until the 1985 World Series when Al Michaels, Tim McCarver and Jim Palmer did the telecast.

I freceived the 1977 World Series set. This set has the worst video quality of the four I now own. As I said before, this is an ABC telecast which in my opinion isw much worse than an NBC telecast. Keith Jackson is OK, but Howard Cosell and Tom Seaver are both pretty obnoxious.
The set also includes the last game of the ALCS. I was hoping that was an NBC production, but the broadcasters are Bill White and Phil Rizzuto. White is alright, but the Scooter is terrible.

First choice is the 1993 World Series of course, by far one of the best in the last 20 years. Close second is the 1991 Twins.
