To celebrate Mr. Henderson's impending induction tomorrow afternoon, I thought I'd throw out this Hall of Fame challenge. Based on the clues below, see if you can identify these 10 HOFers. The first to correctly post them in the correct order before tomorrow's HOF inductees are revealed at 1:30 EST will win this beauty:
*Please note that these 10 individuals all played in the major leaguers
Good luck to all!

Clues:
A. 1, 4, and 6 all have last names beginning with the same last letter
B. 7 and 8 are the only confirmed non-pitchers, the others are up to you to determine
C. 7 and 9’s last name both begin with the same three letters
D. 1 and 6’s last name both begin with the same three letters
E. 1, 2, 5, and 6’s last name all have double consonants in them
F. 2 nearly broke 5’s 42 year old American League single season record in this category, although 5 ultimately lost the record to another Hall of Famer
G. 2, 3, and 6 all have last names ending in the same last letter, while 1, 4, and 9 have the same distinction
H. 8’s playing career almost perfectly overlaps the playing career of one of the most beloved Hall of Famers ever (8 hit the big leagues just one year later, but retired in the very same year)
I. 1’s playing career both began and ended in a year with a repeating number (’11, ’22, ’33, etc…)
J. The “300 milestone” only applies to 1 4, 6, 9, 10
K. The “3,000 milestone” applies to 1. It would also apply to 8 only if you add in his number of homeruns. Even then, it would only be enough equal to his career high in homeruns
L. The other non-pitcher does have “500” to his credit, but also has one of the lowest final year home run totals of any member of that club
M. Only 3 of the 10 in this list are still with us, but all of them can be found in G
N. The total career hits tallied by 7 and 8 are exactly 44.7 short of 4’s career innings total
O. 5, 6, and 9 all hail from this populous eastern state, which is immediately north of 10’s home state. 4 and 7 share a similar geographical proximity, but in 2 midwestern states.
P. 9 went by as many as 3 well known nicknames, but 1, 2, 3, 5, 8,and 10 also had memorable monikers as well (especially 3). 4, 6, and 7 had none, according to baseball-reference.com
Q. 4 has an award named after him
R. 9 was the first of this group to be inducted, 6 was the last
S. 10 was inducted in one of the most important landmark years in baseball history
T. 8,167 sums up 1, 2, and 3’s career k’s
U. 113 sums up 4, 5, and 6’s career shutouts
V. 7 and 8 were found guilty of 88 documented counts of robbery, not including the 273 times they got away with it
W. 9 and 10’s combined win total over the all-time leader in that category is a number that has been entrenched in baseball for nearly 50 years….the definitive battle count year in and year out
X. 10 is the tallest of the bunch at 6’3”. 8 is nearly half a foot shorter, the only one under 6 feet.
Y. 2 and 10 have the same first name
Z. 8 is the only one not who wasn’t voted in by the BBWAA, while 2 received the highest percentage of BBWAA votes in this list, followed by 9, 4, 1, and 7.
Any questions/clarification, don't hesitate to ask! Again, the deadline for submitting your entry is tomorrow January 12th at 1:30pm EST.
