Well, according to MLB.com , its a 1 Year deal for 1.5 Million. All I can say is, WOW. I wouldn't even touch him with a ten foot pole, but, hopefully he can get healthy somewhere, well maybe he'll Throw well and give you 10 Starts this year.:D

Not a bad deal for the Tribe at all. You can't get any less out of the guy than the Yanks did.

They DFA'd Michael Aubrey because of this signing.

"In a related move, the Indians are expected to designate infielder Michael Aubrey for assignment to make roster space for the oft-injured Pavano. "

He immediately pulled his quad signing the contract and was put on the 15 day DL.

Ok after what I heard he said, this guy has NO class what so ever. He doesn't report injuries, and expects his team to follow through with him? I think it was a miracle he even was called up in September. He said earlier "When you're down, you expect your organization to pick you up, not kick you when you're down. I've had to pick myself up quite a few times the last four years." The full story is on Indians.com

Story of his career right there, if you ask me.

I don't expect anything big coming from this guy, which is sad because awhile ago, he really was a good pitcher, but all of a sudden, he's become such an unreliable bum who only raked in cash when he was in the Bronx. Never has been the same.

It would be interesting if he had a bounceback year with the Indians, though.
