I am trying to add a swing clip to a post, it is an mpg and I get an error that says a security token is missing. I emailed the address for this site at the contact us link asking this same question and got no reply. I took the video using a Sony Handycam and the mpg file was created using the Sony software that comes with the camcorder. There is a feature to convert it to a wmv file.

How can I add a clip to a post?

You have to convert it to gif.

You can also upload your video file to any image hosting website you find on the Internet and then post it to BBF by way of the little picture icon in the post window. Once you get the picture uploaded, open it up and then “right click” on it, scroll down to the bottom to where it says “properties” and click on that; in the pop up window find “Address: URL”, highlight and copy it. Close that window and paste the URL script you just copied in the pop up window that opened after you clicked the picture icon in the posting window (see below).

I use “Photobucket.com”, but there are many others out there that work just fine . . . “tinypic.com”, “imageshack.us”, and others; just Google “image hosting” and find the one that works best for you.

Good luck,
