I asked this question with little result so i will ask it again. Anyone who has seen the Baseball World videos had seen the wrist cock on the bottom hand during the swings on the video. Does this help the swing enough to put it into kids swings?

If we are thinking about the same thing, I like it a lot.

I am no expert, but I find it helps let the hips get ahead of the hands without disconnection.

I have seen Englishbey's ( i think that is how to spell his name) video and he does the same thing during his swing.

If you are talking about radial deviation of the bottom wrist, then I don't see this in Steve's one-arm bottom-hand/arm swing demonstrated on his web page. Post a clip and we'll take a look at it.

I think that you are right. Looking at the web site video, it looks like he keeps his wrist from cocking. So the video a while back and thought that the wrist cock was the reason the bat seemed to wrap but i think it was his body moving that caused the bat to look like it moved. But yeah, i am talking about radial deviation. while loading and keeping it until the contact point.

I don't think it's an exclusive wrist action.

And any one who gets the bottom farther behind/beyond the top hand around toe touch, could be considered cocking the bottom wrist.

As an example a hitter can start the bat in a more neutral position and/or even slightly pointing backwards toward the catcher (slight lean, angle back)

And then slightly cock the bat forward during the stride. Pujols, Alex, are good examples of doing what I said above. A younger Bonds did something similar where his bottom hand was beyond the top hand, he cut this back a little in his newer swings.

The new term is creating a barrel load, or bat tipping. Which is not that much different then what Tom Emanski mentioned in his video many years ago.

Hank is showing more movement, although he is basically achieving the same loading pattern of Pujols and Alex.
