Bear in mind that some countries also play exhibitions versus non MLB teams, like the Asian countries; Cuba in 2006 played a three game series against Nicaragua (Dayan Viciedo was left off the team afterwards!).

Wow, I didn't know that Cuba played that series against Nicaragua. I've done some work compiling WBC exhibition games (Australia, Taiwan and Japan played a lot of them), but I could never find out if Cuba played any. I just did a quick search and found that Cuba won the first game 8-3 and the second game 9-2, but I can't find the score of the third game on February 25th. Does anyone know the score of that final game of the series?! It would be nice to be able to put that into my documents. Thanks for the info!
