Are there any baseball cards that picture memorable baseball moments? Such as Kirk Gibson's HR, Carlton Fisk's HR, Sid Bream sliding home, Jim Edmonds making his amazing catch, Buckner's error, etc.

Please post a picture, if you can.

Yes! Way too many to list here. But the Kirk Gibson HR (off the top of my head) is featured in the `89 Upper Deck set (to name one). Carlton Fisk's HR, Nolan Ryan 7th No-no, all in topps/fleer/score issues the following year.

"Way too many to list here."

That was the first thought the came to my mind. During the era of overproduction for commemorative cards in the mid-1990's, you had EVERYTHING on cards. And of course, Topps does its yearly highlight set.

OK, I found the Gibson cards. Thanks. So, there's a 1976 Topps Fisk card (other than his base card)?

No, but I know of a couple Fleer and Upper Deck cards that commemorate it from the 1990's and 2000's.

in 2001, the topps factory set featured something called 'greatest moments'. Ill try to take pics of the ones i have and get them up here.

Buckner's error

Don't have a picture, but I believe one of the 1987 box bottom cards (Topps or Fleer?) had a Bill Buckner card that was obviously taken during the '86 World Series, he's in a road uniform and you can see Shea Stadium's Home Run Apple in the background.

Bobby Thompson signed a card for me that depicted his infamous "shot heard round' the world" homer.

Dusty Rhodes HR to end game one of the 1954 World Series is on a Topps card, but it is a bit of a cheat. The action portion of Dave Pope's 1956 Topps shows him leaping against the RF wall of the Polo Grounds as he did in September of 1954, but the photo now shows him as an Oriole who clearly has the ball in his glove.

My personal favorite is A-Rod's 500th homerun card from the 08 Upper Deck.

Nice card there, AutographCollector. I was just looking on ebay, and I found about 10 other cards from that set.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe there may be one in the `87 Fleer World Series set.

Anytime!

I'm 98% sure that 7 yrs ago Topps produced a "Baseball's Best" type of theme for a series of cards. You should be able to find them on eBay as well.
