I agree, should have been a two base error. However, if Longoria didn't pick it clean, I probalby would have given it a hit - that is the funny thing about baseball

Yeah, for that reason i can see why it was given a hit. I think personally i would have given 2 base error all the way, but i wasnt as shocked by that call as i have been with many others this season. Sometimes i wonder how official scorers keep their job.

Longoria really made a rookie mistake on the play too. He makes a nice stop, and then instead of setting himself and then throwing, he chooses to keep running in and then makes a sidearm throw on the run. K.I.S.S.
