Come on, lighten up. There wasn't anything to do with that statement but poke fun at it. It is stating the obvious; therefore, I made the joke that I did.

That was one of the more pathetic performances I've seen. I feel sorry for the Cubs fans.

Nobody should ever feel sorry for a New York, Chicago or LA fanbase, considering the cash they blow on their team.

Why? Many of those people have very deep loyalties developed before the discrepancy between wealthy and poor teams became so large. We are talking about a fan base hear, NOT ownership. If you told me you did not feel sorry for the Cubs management that would be a different story. To say that the emotions of the fans don't matter is petty and pathetic. The fan base loyalty is independent of the amount of money spent on the team.
Are you bitter about something? Please explain how the amount of money a team spends dictates how we should feel towards their fans? Why are fans of poor teams that are unsuccessful more deserving of sympathy than those of rich teams that are unsuccessful?

The Cubs will be competitive next year, no matter what, considering their market.
The Brewers are losing Sheets and Sabathia, and Fielder is up for arbitration which will eat away at our free agent budget.
The Cubs fans know that their team will be decent next year, where its possible the Brewers won't make it to .500.
So yes, I am bitter.

Are you better off fighting it out to the end or clinching early?
I'm thinking fighting it out, keep an edge

I don't believe that matter.
The Dodgers simply beat them with pitching.

I believe all 10 runs weren't scored on poor fielding.
