Milwaukee Brewers 1-3 Philadelphia Phillies
With an incredible performance of Phillies' ace Cole Hamels, Phillies took game 1 vs Brewers. Hamels worked 8 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and walking 1 men while strucking out nine. A Rickie Weeks' error in a sac-bunt of Hamels with no out in 3rd inning, gave Jimmy Rollins the chance to put Phills on the score. After Rollins' fly to LF and Werth' strikeout, Chase Utley hit a 2-run double. In the same inning, Shane Victorino walked with bases loaded, and Utley scored. Lidge saved his 42nd consecutive save in this season, first on the series.
