Let me start by saying I am a Mets fan, but I am a rare one because I root for the Yanks also (except 6 games a year).
With that my 2008 season wasnt so good as I got to see the Mets fall apart again and then reward their manager and GM. I know Manuel did a good job but now he has been a part of two collapses. Very tired of WFAN Met fans that think this team is good enough to win....when its quite obvious they arent even close.
Besides local baseball Pujols had one of the most awesome under the radar seasons ever. What a monster that guy is.
Manny showed what a dog he can be, but also showed you why he is a HOF lock as he put the Dodgers on his back to the playoffs.
Can we have a short season MVP? You can make a case that Manny is an MVP candidate as you can for CC.
How did Lincecum win that many games with a lineup that wouldnt get past Hawaii at Williamsport?
Ryan Braun is a beast and is going to put up sick numbers over the next bunch of years.
What Mussina did this year after what he did last year is truly amazing.
ARods "down year" is a really good year for just about anyone this side of Pujols.
