All Time Draft #4 Draft

Teams:
25 players like usual... We will have a DH. We will have a manager and stadium draft as well.

Draft Time Limit:
We'll go with the 8 hour window like we did the last 2 times with the dead peroid.

Criteria:
We'll be using the 162 game average line on baseball reference.

Requirements:
Only MLB players. Ignore "steroid issues". I think everybody knows how well each players does on defense. There's like no stat to go by for this draft. I don't want to ignore like defense or baserunning because it's part of the game. What's the best defensive metric out there that everybody has access to??? As far as players before 1900, lets keep them out. I will allow guys like Cy Young or George Davis or someone who played before 1900 if they played at least 5 years in 1900s. If the player played at least 100 games at a position, then the player is allowed to play that position.

Trade:
You can trade your picks or players.

Waiver/Manager/Stadium Round:
There will be a waiver round after the draft if you need it. It'll be for a week as soon as the last pick of the draft is over. It's also first come first served as well and you can replace up to 3 players. For the manager/stadium draft... It is during the waiver round right after the draft. It will be like our draft where it's snake order.

Roster Page:
I'll put one up right before we start the draft. Also, I would like us to put like a summary at the end of our roster page. It's kinda gonna be an analysis on how/why/what stat or list you went by on draft and also why you think your team is the best... You can do that part whenever you want, but I would require it would be done before the manager/stadium draft is completed.


Tournament Polls:
As for the poll at the end for the draft... I was thinking of a straight who wins TeamA/TeamB poll. Have 2 teams on there... Also, you can vote in the polls except for the one your team is in it.


It's all just for fun. I want the 8 of us agree on something though instead of having 1 guys making all the rules and stuff. What I have down is what some of us have agreed on or just throwing things out there. If you guys have any ideas or if I need to add some more things/sections, just let me know.

Yeah I know and he could still go to 1B or DH if I want. It's nice to be flexible. Like with Hornsby, he can play 2B/SS/3B for me. I just figured he would be like Piazza, bad defensively but better offensively. Either way... he's still a good pick.

I think we should wait. By expiring hsi clock early, he could potentially be even farther behind when he does get on to make his pick than he woudl if his clock expired at the regular time. When his clock expires, we have the next set of picks and go on from there.

Yeah basically I was going for 100 games, but if a guy had played some games at the other corner then I'm fine with it. That's the only place I'll switch. All the other positions has to have 100 games played to qualify. The bench I'm not going to worry about the 100 game rule so if you want a 3B to play SS then be my guest.
