I've noticed that alot of players start charging or stop signing once there inducted into the Hall of Fame. I know Goose Gossage started charging, immediately after his induction. So I thought I'd like to try and get a few guys while I still can. Who are the future Hall of Famers that are currently signing?

That's a very open ended question. Using "possible future Hall of Famers" might be better wording. In that case, Jeff Kent c/o Dodgers, Andre Dawson c/o home (donation required), Jim Thome c/o White Sox, Mariano Rivera c/o Yankees.

Those are a few players that have been signing this year, but the season is almost over. You should probably wait and send requests during ST, or right after the '09 season begins. Dawson is a really good signer year round, but he asks for a $12 donation to sign cards. Its worth it, imo.

That really depends on who you consider to be future HOF'ers.

Dunno about future HoF'ers, but if you want perhaps the ultimate "coulda been" or perhaps even the ultimate "cult baseball player," I will remind you that Steve Dalkowski signs year-round. :)

How did I know that you'd say that?

BTW: John Maine is also a good ttm signer. ;)

Was that the guy that played for the O's and could throw like 100 MPH? If so, that be a real cool one to get. Does he have any baseball cards that you know of?

I know its kind of an open ended question. I was thinking of narrowing it down and probably should have. Basically what I was asking was, is there anyone who could be voted in within the next 1-3 years thats been signing. I know its hard to project. So maybe its more like who on the eligibility list is signing? (the list is in the margin here: http://web.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers/)

Never played in the Majors, though Steve was technically on the MLB disabled list. He probably registered about 105-110 mph on a modern radar gun. His only card is part of a 1963 Topps Rookie Stars card, #496. It features Steve, Fred Newman, Carl Bouldin, and Jack Smith.

Honestly I see andre Dawson getting in due to the support so I would get him as he'll sign a card for free.
