Cool. Three ballpark influences immediately come to mind - Post renovated Yankee Stadium, Dodger Stadium and County Stadium.

Good call on County Stadium. The facade on Marc's model almost looks like a modern version of CS.
I love this seating bowl and how aggressive the cantilvered upper deck is. It looks so much better than the split-upper deck. Just a gorgeous design.

All of the stadiums have a very 1950's feel with the wooden surfaces and trimmings and the slightly quirky angles especially with some of his scoreboards (see Pacific Field). Very much inspired in ways by Dodger stadium which does have a similar retro (but not camden yards retro) feel and he does a brilliant concept for Dodger stadium aswell.
BTW, anybody know where Elvis has gone? He allways had some great input on stadium design and was a good contributor in general to the forum.

Not sure what exactly happened to Elvis. It's too bad, this forum could use his insight. At least he lives on through these gorgeous ballpark models.

Somebody needs to give Mr. Gilbert a consulting contract. Wilshire is simply stunning. If it were built it would instantly be the best-looking ballpark in the majors.
