Let's merge half the threads here.
Let's support a plan to save Yankee stadium, by taking it apart, carrying it to Brooklyn, rebuilding it and using it for a third major league team in NYC!

Completely insane and totally impractical!! I like it.
But where in Brooklyn would we re-assemble it? And can we restore it to before the bad 70's renovation?

If the NY-related threads were merged, there's be only a handful left, and one of them would be about trying to relocate a Florida team to Jersey.

Hmm... I like it.
Now I will start a new thread to explain why.

I'm sure someone could photoshop it onto the old Ebbet's Field site.

That would only work if the Yankee stadium was made of "Lego..."

Quick!
Someone start a petition to have that model preserved as a Historical Lego Site before some kid dismantles it to build a spaceship!

Or at least save the portion behind the plate!

The Original Lego Yankee Stadium was way more classy! I saw Lego Denny McLain strike out Lego Mickey Mantle there in '68.

When this thread is closed by moderators, I move we create a tribute thread in it's, and others like it's, honor. We'll combine language from the headers of them into the new threads header. Then we can talk about building a stadium that resembles the stadiums discussed in the other threads, and go on like those threads never left. It's one thing to create your own original topic for a thread, but why would you do such a thing if you can keep talking about the same one?
