Easy choice for me. Trevor Hoffman

I voted for Trevor Hoffman, but I could see Jake Peavy eventually becoming #1.

I agree, I normally wouldnt take a reliever as # 1 for an entire org but there is no choice other then Hoffman that overwelms me here. And he has throw as many innings as most starters, haha. I do think that Peavy could take this post, if he stays with the club for a while.

Hoffman is the first reliever that I've voted for. Given the Padres relative lack of history of great starting pitchers he's really the only choice. Jake Peavy could possibly be on track to claim the top spot someday but he'd need to spend a good 15 seasons with the club.

Voted for Hoffman. The Padres dearth of quality starting pitchers in their history is amazing. If I had to vote for a starter, it would be Kevin Brown and he was only a Padre for one year.

Randy Jones deserves some love. Didn't last long but at his peak he was a tremendous pitcher. One of the great true sinkerballers in baseball.

Definitely Trevor Hoffman. Also the first reliever I have voted for. Not much else to choose from, really. Peavy is great but hasn't established himself over time quite as much as Hoffman has.

Took Hoffman based on longevity and consistency.

I second that.
