Maybe this year will be the first that Miller Park will host a playoff game.
Is anybody else here getting jazzed up for a possible Tampa Bay-Milwaukee World Series?:cap:

Great shots!
It's amazing from what the Brewers had and what they have now.
Miller truely is one of the best parks in MLB.

I love going to Miller Park for Cubs-Brewers games. Even 19 rows up in the upper deck I had a good view of that field. The players didn't look like ants either. This place is a huge improve over outdated County Stadium.

Oh Hell Yeah, Because The Milwaukee Brewers Are My Team (I only live 1 Hour and 10 Minutes from Miller Park) And I don't think they have made the playoffs since 1982 When they Lost to The Damn Cardinals in The 1982 World Series, The Brewers were in the playoffs also in 1981, I think against the New York Yankees, but the Brewers Lost.
So My Brewers Who Only Been I One World Series in 1982 (And Lost) And in Total Have been In The Playoffs Two Times (1981,1982) Could play a team just like us that has NEVER Won the World Series, In The World Series That would be great because finaly a team that has NEVER won a World Series could Win It This Year. I'm Hoping that the Brewers Play The Tampa Rays In The 2008 World Series. I know that the Brewers Would win against The Tampa Rays.

Cubs fans have suffered big since 1945. The Cubs won NL 10 NL Pennants from 1906-1945. 1906,1907,1908,1910,1918,1929,1932,1935,1938,1945. We won it all in 1907 and 1908. We came so close in 1984 and 2003. What painfull defeats those were. My family had World Series tickets in 1984.

Not a big fan of Miller Park. Out of all the ballparks with retractable roofs, only Safeco Field got it right.
At Safeco you actually feel like your outside when the roof is open.

These other ballparks remind me of Texas Stadium with the hole in the roof.

That would be fine with me. Anybody except the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Braves and Cardinals.
Great photos BTW.

the old Stadium kind of looks like Dodger Stadium. Miller park is ugly why build a roof that way. They should of build it like Safeco Field.

how long did the crane collapse delay construction, if at all?

Didn't a couple of the construction workers sadly die from that?

Very similar. I wonder if Dodger Stadium would look like that if the Dodgers didn't maintain it so well.

Miller Park Was Supposed To Open In 2000, But Because Of The Crane Collapse It opened in 2001, because it delayed the construction of Miller Park. But If Anything good came out of it, it was that Milwaukee County Stadium Had one more year than it was originaly going to have, and plus it made it into the new millenium :)

Not yet been to Safeco, but I agree.
Don't much care for Miller Park. Love the amenities, love the concourses, the field looks beautiful and I can't argue with anything called a "Uecker seat," but for actually watching a game on the field I'd take County Stadium every day.

Milwaukee is rated as having the best ballpark food out of all the ballparks. thats enough reason to go, lol.
Therefore, since my close family friends' brother has an in with the Rockies organization, they can get free tickets to any game for any team. So we will most likely be headed to Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and both Chicago games next year.

Very nice photos. I actually like the way the stadium has different exterior looks to it that are pretty interesting. The centerfield view, while simple but very modern, has a very imposing sight. I've never been a huge fan of the high glass walls on the first and third base sides of the stadium, but the straight away exterior elevation with the roof truss structure above looks cool. The exterior green reminds me of a military installation, but not necessarily in a bad way. I think I would have made the roof another color, but green is okay. Thank you very much for posting these! If you have more I'd love to see them.

I think the green color is what makes the roof so unsightly and "reptilian". Maybe a more classic or earth toned color, or even black would have been better.

I agree with you here. The green color they chose for the steel is ugly. It's not that I hate green, it's "that green" that they used that I hate. I hope to get up there in a few years and check out a game since it is a day trip away.

Great pictures! My family and I have been going to a Cubs-Brewers game in Milwaukee every year since 2002, and I must say it's a great park to watch a game.
