I just went to a rider scouting camp and when i was playing the pitchers were throwing 70-80 mph and on every hit i had, it was a one hop right to the 3rd baseman or in that area. Even when i was getting soft toss in BP on the outside coner, the best i would get is straight down the middle. Also when we did tee work i couldnt get the ball to go opposite way.

Any suggestions for the problem and/or how to fix?

Thanks!

wait but I wish I could pull, our field is 380 in center and 40' high think of a green monster in center, and left is 315, I can take a ball to the warning track or off the wall in center but I cant pull I usually hit dead center or right center.

your hips are probably opening too much. get on the tee and point your belt buckle to wherever youre trying to hit the ball.

or maybe your shoulder are... for me though, when i start pulling everything, i do what my coach said and try pointing your belt buckle to where you want to hit it. this always works for me.

your hands are probably ccoming around the ball...keep your hands inside the ball.

thats usually what the problem is. What works for me is to really focus on hitting the ball on the sweet spot and that usually keeps your hands in.
