I'm looking at getting a new glove since my old omaha pro has pretty much been reduced to a pancake, and I'm looking at getting a pro preffered or biting the bullet and getting a primo(i found a pretty good deal).
How are the pro preffered for maintaining there shape etc etc?

I have had 4...they seem to be getting worse as they go imo...they are very stiff which i like, but something that ive had a problem with all of my pro preffereds is that any ball hard into the palm, on say a backhander, will pop out...this isnt just me...almost everyone i know that has one says this...anyway, i just ordered a mizuno pro limited today and am looking forward to getting away from rawlings. I had better experiences with my heart of the hide.

Heart of the Hide can tend to be stiff as well, as the ball pops out of mine too. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I love mine. Some people hate them. As for the palm problem, it got better the more the glove got broken in. Heres mine...

I love the pro preferred models have had 4. They are a pretty easy breakin and as long as you put in a ball in it when you don't use it or just don't let it get smashed by other things it holds the form well --- my current hasn't broken form in almost 2 years. I think the problem paul is talking about is due to the thickness of the leather. In my experience most of the higher quality leathers have similar thickness whereas like a nokina or however its spelled has really soft leather but isn't as high quality. I only had problems with balls popping out in the initial breakin period but thats a given with pretty much any glove. You shouldn't be catching balls in the palm anyways it should always be in the pocket.
