i am new to the site but have been reading it some time now. my question is this... can someone here show me a video(above the head view) of a hitter without chp? to me this is something that has to happen and should never be worked on as a hitter. thanks

Here is a linear, non-CHP hand path that some people advocate...

However, this is just a theoretical construct.

NOBODY at the ML level actually uses this hand path.

thanks chris. i have seen that video before but i am looking for a game or bp swing with no chp. i dont think i will one unless the hitter throws the bat at the pitchers legs.

I doubt that this swing would work beyond grade school.

did not say this swing would work chris. but more problems with hitters with the hands cutting off at and after contact than the hands not being circular. sometimes you need to think wrong to get it right.
