Fred Valentine

I got to talk to Fred Valentine the other day. My son plays in a college summer league for the Wilson NC Tobs team. Fred played for them in 1958 in the minors so they had Fred Valentine bobble head night and he threw out the first pitch. I got to chat with him for 10 mins or so, what a nice man. It was great remembering the Senators lineup back in the mid 60s. Fred, Don Lock, Jim King, Hondo etc.

I am not sure if he still is or not, but several years ago (as early as 2001) he was a rep for Coca-Cola here in MD.
