The Cubs once had a reunion of the 1969 team that blew a 9 1/2 game lead on Aug 11th and finished 8 games out. Enough said when a franchise actually celebrates something like that. Never have fans bragged so much about a team that has won so little.

Like the Cubs a hair better because of WGN thru the years. Also enjoyed watching the White Sox on WGN.

I never thought about it before. I guess I will vote for the Cubs since they're more of an underdog now that the White Sox broke their "curse" a couple years ago. The Cubs still have to break their "curse."

I've grown very fond of the Cubs as the only people I have around to talk baseball with are ardent Cubs fans, and anyway, you simply can't beat heroic failure for drama.
