The injury ridden Yankees are in desperate need for outfielders. Reportedly, the top two options for them right now are Barry Bonds and Richie Sexson. Being that both Matsui and Damon are out on the DL right now is seems as if the Yankees are desperate for anything they can get.

Well, out of 1288 games Sexson has played in over his career, only 110 were in the outfield, all when he was much younger back when he was with the Indians.

Sexson signed with the Yankees Thursday. In 61 AB against LHP his OPS is over 1.000.

Be wierd rooting for him instead of against him though.
