After getting into a fight and disturbing the peace, Reyes was tasered twice and then arrested by the police. The charges were then dropped because the actions he took technically didn't meet the definition of the crime. Do you think this was the right decision made by the police?

Asuming that there's no looking the other way because he's famous, absolutely. That's the way the law works. If they charge you with X, but what you did doesn't fit X, they dismiss it.

The funny thing about this situation, after re-reading the article, is that the thing Reyes was charged with stemmed from the fight that he admitted to being in.

It was something dealing with disturbing the peace, which the DA said they couldn't prove because they didn't have proof or something of that nature.

I don't know. I think if the Rays would be in last place, Reyes might have received a different fate.

He got punched in the face and got pissed off about it.

Doesn't sound like he did anything (from what I've read about the incident) to warrant an actual charge.
