What would've happened if CC Sabathia was named to the All-Star team? Would he still go as any Indian even though he is a Brewer now?

I don't think so. If I remember correctly, when Carlos Beltran was traded from the Royals to Houston in '04, he was part of the NL team even though he had only been there for a week or two

Beltran was not part of the AL team, his votes just transfered from the AL vote to the NL vote. If Sabathia was an All-Star, he probably would be a member of the NL team and MLB would have to allow an addition 2 AL pitchers or take one NL pitcher from the ASG.
