I am a small middle infielder. I am 5 feet, 90 pounds going into my sophomore year. I am never going to be tall, so to make it I need to be strong and fast. The thing is, I don't know what training is right for me. I am looking for a program that I can carry from now till the start of the season, that works on your physical tools as well as your baseball skills. Advice? Anyone I should contact?
How old are you and what's your training experience?

Yes, recently I have been told to work on speed and agility, and when I mature more to work on strength and power. On another note, is 50 MPH slow for a MIF my size. (4 "11, 90 lbs)
There are plenty of things that you can do for speed and agility that don't involve lifting weights. But lifting weights will improve speed, power, and strength if you have a proper program. However, it does not sound like you have much experienc lifting weights. Therefore, you need to start off with a program that involves bodyweight exercises, maybe some med balls, and you should try to find a trainer or coach who can teach you proper technique in weight training exercises. It's not going to happen overnight. What grade will you be in this fall?

In the 10th grade
10th grade and only 14? When will you be 15? Do you have a coach or teacher that can introduce you to some weight training exercises?

Hey, you should feel lucky, because somewhere along the way I became old for my age, and I can tell you that that's no fun!! ;)
