Don't know how many of you are DMB fans out there, but I'm curious what your thoughts are on the direction the company has gone since Tom Tippett sold it and what your plans are in regards to future baseball sim purchases.

Their new owner cares nothing at all for the PC version of the game and can't see beyond his online venture. He's completely neglected the PC game and almost succeeded in running it into the ground. I think his online game, though, is not long for this world either. In any event, in the last few weeks, it appears there may be some hope for the PC game, as the owner has allowed the old people with DMB who know what they're doing some more control over the direction of the game. It will be interesting to see if any real money goes toward this. If the online venture goes belly up, who knows?

I used to love DMB. I grew up on Strat, but switched to DMB when they first started out.
Needless to say, since the sale of DMB I have been back playing Strat and have not looked back.

After much deliberating, there will be a Version 10 of DMB coming out in February. The online side is suffering however, and it is hard to tell what effect this will have on the new version. It is still the best game out there.
