Lee Pelekoudas is responsible for McLaren getting fired. Apparently, everyone was all set to hang on to McLaren.

The joy of having both Bavasi and Mclaren gone has disappeared. There will be no joy especially when Riggleman has Cairo, Bloomquist, and Vidro in tthe same lineup. You know Sexson will be in the lineup tomorrow whiffing against LHP Santana. Vidro and Sexson should be released before the Mets series. Eat the contracts already, they have zero trade value.
