Dave McNally, Sonny Siebert and Dick McAuliffe are examples of opposing players that killed the Senators. Who were some other players that always hurt the Senators?

Frank Robinson sticks in my mind. Micky Mantle seemed to have a field day in DC. On the pitching side: Bert Blyleven, Blue Moon Odom, Catfish Hunter and Jim Palmer.

Jim "Mudcat" Grant, pitcher, Cleveland Indians in the late 50s.
He was famous...talked about by Shirley Povich and Bob Addie, Post sports writers who covered the Nats.
Always beat the Senators. (No, I don't know the record.)

Bert Blyleven made his mlb debut against the Senators about 1/3rd of the way into the 1970 season. He was still a teenager at the time. I remember watching that game. He gave up a homer early to Lee Maye and I thought this guy not so great (hey I was 10 at the time). But he settled down the rest of the game and won.
I don't know if Bert had a true mastery over the Senators for his career and the team's existance in Washington spaned only over 1 and 2/3 seasons. Ironically however Bert did later get traded to Texas.

I don't know his overall record against the Nats, but Grant beat the Nats 14 straight times at the start of his career for a 14-0 record. Grant would later get traded to the original Senators descendants, the Twins.
