What is the deal with the Marlins' broadcasters saying "and his name is Dan Uggla!" after Uggla hits a Home Run?
From wikipedia:
Throughout his rookie season, due to the many mispronunciations of his last name, Marlins television announcers Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton have exclaimed, "And his name is... DAN UGGLA!!", when Uggla hit a home run. That continues through 2008.
I too have always wondered that.

Right before Uggla's first season with Florida in 2006, the Marlins had a dinner/banquet function to introduce the players for the upcoming season (and to raise money). Upon introducing Uggla, the speaker mispronounced his name. Immediately, Dan's brother stood up from the back and shouted "His name is Dan UGGLA!"
That's the origin of the phrase.
