Now that we are 50% done with 2008 how much as your collection grown so far this year? Is it just where you want it? Not enough successes? Got back a ton of requests?

Well so far my return rate is a little down from what I "expect"....so far this year I've sent out 144 requests and have received 52 successes....for a return rate of 36% (which is slightly less than the 43% return rate that I've averaged over the last few years). I've sent a lot of stuff in the last month, so I expect that I'll see some more successes from those soon enough....

Overall, it's been a good year so far....I've made some great progress on a couple of the projects that I've been working on....and I'm enjoying all the returns I've got back.

Counting the return I got today, but not counting the two requests I'm sent today, I'm at 88 out of 289 with 10 failures. That's 30% right now, but I've sent a ton of requests in the last month or so, so hopefully that success number will rise some.

I haven't been sending much lately.

So far this season, I've sent out my fair share and have around 100 requests that are still out there to players, past and present, that appear to be good signers, but I'm still waiting. This is part of the fun of the hobby, sending out requests, not knowing when or if you'll get anything back. I've had a few trickle in lately, so I'm hoping that I will receive more as the season goes on.
