On August 26, 1939, the Dodgers and Reds played a doubleheader that was televised by W2XBS, an experimental station owned by NBC. They split the two games.

On Feb 12. 1921 the first Japan TV broadcast was of a baseball game (and they tried again Feb 17, 1931)
On May 17, 1939 Princeton beat Columbia 2-1 in the first US televised baseball game.

I dont see how thats possible, the TV wasnt invented until 1927 (first long distance broadcast). Of course, they could have recorded the movie and played it back in theatres, but it wasnt TV.

The first televised baseball game may have occurred in Japan. Researcher Bob Timmermann brought my attention to the fact that the Japanese were experimenting with prototypes of television by the early 1930s. One of the sites was Waseda University in Tokyo, and on February 17, 1931, an attempt was made there to televise a baseball game. If the game was indeed visible, it was seen only in a laboratory.

I'm leaning towards the Princeton-Columbia Ivy League Tilt as my final answer. NBC televised the game and I'm sure many baseball fans tuned in.
When was the first televised game in the US played west of the Mississippi?
