Steroids and Card Collecting

Kind of a general question but I want to hear opinions on it: has steroids have effected the way you collect autos, RC etc?

I don't collect people who are on/was roids. No matter how much there stuff is worth [bonds] I don't collect it.

He never said he knows everyone who has and hasn't been on it. He's saying he doesn't collect those who he knows have been on them.

I would say it has. Specifically in the case of Barry Bonds. I don't collect or seek out Bonds cards.

I don't try to collect juicers, but if I find a valueable card of one (Bonds) I try to sell it to someone who does. I go through a ton of '80's packs, so I've found Bonds and Clemens a couple times.

The track record in my own collection suggests that I chose to stop collecting because of suspicions over steroid use. The last year in the collection is 1998. I continued having plenty of fun with fantasy baseball through the early part of this decade, even as I had hunches about general steroid use. This is because I was in a league with very low stakes. But I could not see spending money for cards on behalf of players who might have been juiced.
