You can find photos on google.com. Just use the image search feature. As for things to get signed, my best recommendation would be 3x5 index cards. Cheap, you can buy a ton at a time, and easy to store. If you want to get, say, four or five guys on baseballs, I'd try and get Tim Beckham, Pedro Alvarez, Eric Hosmer, Justin Smoak, and Yonder Alonso.

"why arent you on aim J.W?"
Because I'm sporadically on and off the computer today...I'll be on later.

In that case, blow up to 4x6. They look just as nice.

I was trying to get down there for the draft. Just don't have the money right now with gas prices being so ridiculous. Each gallon of gas is just one less pack of cards I can buy.
Let me know how it goes with the autos. If you get anything extra I'd be willing to trade you for pretty much anything.

ya gas is expensive.. I have 2 other guys coming with me and we only live like 100miles away so it wont be to bad....Plus it only happens once a year its a good experience!!!

What are you talking about selling them? I'm not selling the photos I'm a collector not a dealer.

Stealing from where Corbis.com?
Nope. When you are not a member they have their watermark on the top left. If you have an account the watermark goes away. They also give tips on what sizes are best to print them out. So I am not sure where you are getting this "stealing" ideas from.

I am guilty of it already, put as someone who works in the Legal field, I know. It doesn't matter if the picture can be googled or not, if you didn't take it, you are stealing it. Will you be prosecuted? Probably not, but it's a misconception to think that it's ok as long as you aren't selling it.

anyways autograph collector...How do you change the size for the best quality picture. Cause I saved it as it and tried to get them printed 8X10 and it wasn't big enough.

i dont really have any useful tips on finding pictures. or 'stealing' pictures. but i have found this whole thread to be quite amusing. i really don't see how printing a picture someone has publicly posted on the internet is stealing. but anyways.
rpollard - i sent you a message the other day about that chipper card and a possible trade. let me know if youre interested. have a good time at the draft man.

Wow you guys know how hard I've been working for this event. Got 8X10's all made up, got cards, had baseballs the whole works for this event. I come home discustied. They didn't let you bring in any memoribilla items to get autographed. This is what they did for the so called amazing fan experience.
You walk in and if you walk over to the counter they give you an 8X10 with 5 different time slots and one of the Xed. That's right only one of them. Come to find out that's the only time you can get autos. And get this what you got your autographs on was that 8X10 on the back of it!!!!! I'm so sick its not even funny how much time and expectations I had for this event. I did manage a few autographs while the players were leaving....Al Jackson, Vinny Castilla, Harold Reynolds, and Devon White. Not one of the HOFers... I didn't even bother getting that 8X10 card signed cause you had to wait in a line forever and the best player in my group was Tino Martinez.
If baseball is trying to make a come back out of the steriods era to make the fans happy and have a fan interactive draft. This wasn't it.
Also get this... Not one draftee was freaking there!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sick talking about this mod please close this thread...
